Introduction: Crifos 4 gm injection is an antibiotic medicine used to treat bacterial infections in your body. It is effective in some infections of the urinary tract, lungs (For example-pneumonia), bones, brain (For example-meningitis) and blood. However, it is only used when other common antibiotics cannot be used.

Mode of Action: It kills bacteria by preventing them from forming the bacterial protective covering which is needed for their survival.

Dosage: Your doctor or nurse will administer the medicine.

Side effects: The most common side effects of this medicine include injection site reactions (pain, swelling or redness), vaginal inflammation and stomach pain.
