Introduction: Betagan 0.5 % liquifilm is used to treat elevated intraocular pressure (high pressure inside the eye) in people with ocular hypertension and certain types of glaucoma.

It is a beta blocker. It works by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.

Dosage: This medicine is for external use only. Check the label for directions before use.

Special Precaution: Never use a bottle if the seal is broken before you use it for the first time.

Side Effects: The most common side effects are irritation or pain in the eye, watery or dry eyes and inflammation of the eyelid or surface of the eye, headache and dizziness.
