Introduction:  Clobet GM cream is used to treat various types of skin infections. It minimizes symptoms of inflammation such as redness, swelling and itching. It also prevents the growth of infection-causing microorganisms and promotes faster healing of infections.

Mode of Action: Clobetasol is a steroid medicine. It blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen and itchy. It provides temporary relief of symptoms. Gentamicin is an antibiotic which kills bacteria by preventing the synthesis of essential proteins required by bacteria to carry out vital functions. Miconazole is an antifungal which stops the growth of fungi by preventing them from forming their own protective covering.

Side effects: This medicine is usually safe, but, some patients feel burning, irritation, itching and redness at the application site.
