Mode of action: It lowers the amount of testosterone (a male hormone) produced by the body. This may slow or stop the spread and growth of prostate cancer cells that need testosterone to grow.

Dosage: The doctor or nurse will administer the medicine.

Side Effects: The most common side effects of this medicine include Injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness), weight gain, hot flashes, increased liver enzyme and low sexual desire.
