Introduction: Dortas-T Eye Drop is a combination of two medicines used in the treatment of glaucoma and ocular hypertension. It decreases the fluid (aqueous humor) production in the eye which relieves the pressure in the eye. This way it relieves the symptoms.
Mode of action: Dorzolamide is a carbonic anhydrase inhibitor and Timolol is a beta blocker. They work by decreasing the production of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye), thereby lowering the increased eye pressure.
Dosage: This medicine is for external use only. Check the label for directions before use.
Side effects: Use of this medicine may cause burning sensation, stinging, and irritation at the application site.
