Introduction: Duonase nasal spray is a combination medicine used in the treatment of allergy symptoms such as runny nose, stuffy nose, sneezing, watery eyes and congestion or stuffiness.

Mode of Action: Fluticasone propionate is a steroid which works by blocking the release of certain chemical messengers that cause inflammation (swelling) and irritation in the nose. Azelastine is an anti-allergic which relieves allergy symptoms like runny nose, watery eyes and sneezing.

Dosage: The doctor will advise the duration of the spray.

Side effects: The most common side effects are taste change, nosebleeds and headaches.
