It works by removing excess sugar from your body through urine.

Dosage: The doctor will advise the dose and duration of the dosage form. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it.

Side effects: The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, frequent urge to urinate, increased thirst, urinary tract infections and hypoglycemia (low blood sugar levels).
