Introduction: Kenacort 0.1 % oral paste belongs to a group of medicines called steroids. It is used for the treatment of mouth ulcers. It provides relief from swelling and redness in the affected area.

Mode of Action: It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that cause inflammation (swelling), redness and pain in the mouth. It does so by sticking to the wet surfaces of the mouth and forming a protective film over the ulcer/injured surfaces.

Dosage: This medicine is for external use only. Check the label for directions before use.

Side effects: Sometimes it may cause application site irritation.
