Introduction: Valgan tablet is used to treat cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection of the retina (retinitis) in adult patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS). It is also used for the prevention of CMV infection in patients who have received an organ transplant from a CMV-infected donor.

Mode of Action: It prevents the multiplication of virus in human cells. This stops the virus from producing new viruses and clears up your infection.

Dosage: The doctor will advise the dose and duration of the dosage form. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tablet is to be taken with food.                                                                    

Side Effects: It may lead to a few common side effects like fever, diarrhea, vomiting, anemia, low white blood cell and low platelet level.
